We are writing on behalf of the group as they will have limited access to wifi in the village this week. Trip leaders, David and Julia, have called to update us and report that the group has been welcomed in with open arms, everyone is doing well, and they are looking forward to a busy week of work!

Upon arrival in the village the group immediately dove into projects on site, teaming up with local youth and TEAM Nepal, a Nepalese nonprofit that partners with rural communities in the Kathmandu valley. Projects so far have included harvesting and planting on local farms, rebuilding and paving roads through the village, planting trees, and helping to terrace a hillside for rice planting. The weather has been perfect and they are enjoying getting to know their host community. Below are a few photos documenting their experiences so far!
