Winding up the dirt road, teetering on the edge of the mountain, no one knew what to expect when the bus turned around the final bend and Cardrona Mountain loomed before us.

With few trees spread across the mountain, there was no true way to tell where one trail stopped and another started. With wanting to take full advantage of the 852 acres of terrain, there was little delay to hitting the slopes. There were jumps to be hit, falls to be taken, and hot chocolates to be had. While some were cruising down blacks and others were taking their first turns, everyone was able to enjoy the day and take advantage of the New Zealand snow.
